generally it's out of sight out of mind for the greenies. if the retort isn't in eyesight of any soy latte cafes, it shouldn't garner too much attention.
I've heard that the pastoralists in the alpha region are broadly supportive of mining. which is a huge plus. because aside from environmental concerns, pastoralist resistance is the next biggest problem.
there's really not much standing in the way of success for this project.
IMO. dyor. etc etc.
