while annoying I've found them to be quite useful on many other stocks I've held. they tend to put the brakes on upward momentum until there is news.
now in a company where news is few and far between, this can be a real problem, and can see a gradual erosion on the sp.
in a company where news is expected relatively soon, it can help to contain the sp, sort of acting like a spring load for when the news actually does come.
and given the news we're expecting in GRV, i think it's pretty obvious which camp we fall into.
