    the decline indeed was inevitable. nothing goes up forever. and the higher levels were largely unsupported - moved up on very thin volumes.

    is it oversold? who knows. what's the true value of its potential? who knows. but we will know what it's worth when the DFS comes out later this year.

    I've said before I can't see many things standing in the way of the success of the alpha operation. it's a very well understood deposit. bitumen prices are high and with infrastructure spends around the world, likely to get higher. simple open cut operation. infrastructure good. no need for tailings - big win for environment considerations. pastoralists are onside and supportive.

    there's never anything that's a "sure thing" on the market, but this is probably as close as it gets when you consider this management team has done this a few times before.
