there's unlikely to be any news out of alpha this week.

however the drills are spinning in Georgina. in the announcement last week it said they'd commenced drilling, which included trying to source bore water.

I don't know how long it's take to pull up some bore, but let's be concessionary and say it took a couple of days. the NDI mob took around 10 days to drill a similar depth. so the very first inkling we could get from Georgina is probably next week.

and that's assuming something is struck on the very first hole. which would be quite lucky I'd say.

but the point is, we could, and I want to emphasise "COULD" and not "will", have substantive news to rerate the sp as early as next week.

that's taking a VERY optimistic view. but it's technically possible.

what we're seeing at the minute, in my view, is the price moving on fairly thin volumes. filling in the blanks with my own bias I'd say it's because it's a fairly tightly held stock because the overwhelming majority are confident in future prospects for this company.

if I was you, and I bought into a company with good prospects at X price, and then two weeks later I could buy in at X price minus 10-20% I'd think it's a good buying opportunity. but that's just me. and certainly not advice.
