I agree with you to an extent Mr UpsideDown, however based on current negitive sentitment toward management reporting, anything released with no substantial result would have been absorbed as mutton dressed as lamb...

At least we know GS are still continuing with their sale relationship, they surely aren't doing this for nothing.

A discounted rights issue would see holders make 300% profits before Fortis even got a sniff at exercising for some cash.
