In a note to investor GSJBW analysts said "it was not surprising that Centro had struggled to sell assets in the difficult conditions and that had been further complicated by the companies convoluted structure. While its too early to comment on the likely equity injection, we believe CNP should be successful in attaining the debt extention to at least December. We also believe that it is in the lenders' best interests to take a long term view of recapitalising the vehicle in order to preserve asset values."
