GSK must want to increase production in 2006 to get a revenue boost. Why wouldn't they ?
I'm sure the Biota lawsuit is an issue but they probably also want to downplay so they don't look like they are profiteering from Bird flu concerns. They are happy to make the money but don't want to draw too much publicity and look like bad guys.
By gradually releasing info to the world they are keeping below the radar and painting themsleves as good guys working hard for the good of all of us. A heroic struggle indeed...
The bottom line is the top/bottom lines and Relenza is probably the easiest win GSK have on offer and they will go for it whether they tell us or not. (and will have a communication plan as well)
Further, I can't believe they will not try and settle with Biota in the next 2-3 months so they can remove it as a risk from their 2006&7 Business Plans
