Spruiking BTA with catchcries and lies are the hallmark of some posters here on HC.
QUOTE: “gsk is pushing relenza”
and “Looks like the "settlement" has prompted GSK to start pushing Relenza through all circles”.
These are the FACTS.
1) Despite being forced by Governments to supply hundred of millions of courses of Relenza during the height of the pandemic stockpile bygone days, GSK could only supply 0.4m courses in Feb and 0.5 m courses in Mar 09 to Japan (Source of information: BTA ASX announcements)
2) "GSK reportedly licensed Chinese companies to produce Zanamivir in 2006 but it did not offer related techniques to make the drug." Source of information:

3) GSK’s effort is best reflected in the US. Typical of many US Organisations, JHH recommends for the 2008/2009 Flu season:
Influenza A or unknown PREFERRED treatment.: Oseltamivir + Amantadine
Influenza B – Oseltamivir
The biggest telltale sign of GSK best effort is the Note,
QUOTE: Monument Street Outpatient Pharmacy stocks Zanamivir inhalers; other pharmacies may not stock Zanamivir.

There many other anectodal information showing Pharmacies are not stocking Zanamivir (Relenza).
(To borrow some words) Indeed GSK is pushing Relenza in circles around their beloved Peter Cook.
LOL! LOL!
