other than to rub salt into the wound, why would a BTA holder be interested in GSKs vaccine program? Yeah, the money and effort they are wasting betting they will beat 100s of other research labs to a useful vaccine, instead of developing and producing Relenza. One billion on vaccine and Relenza, sure, but what's the breakdown? Reminds me of the "Tamiflu and Relenza are the only antivirals" line that appears in every article about bird flu. Too bad Relenza is actually better than Tamiflu but is as rare as unicorn poop. Roche can't even get informed governments to order the stuff any more!!
