rab, as you say it is good to see the Traffic division CEO going on to the front foot and outlining just how small the vocal minority of rednecks in the U S really is.
As is very often the way in the media sensationalism takes priority over the facts and recently the anti photo enforcement lobby have managed to get a fair bit of publicity with their slanted articles and statistics. This in turn has flowed through to some legislators as evidenced by the recent anti photo enforcement bills in Arizona, Texas and Ohio. Thankfully reason has prevailed in Arizona and Texas where both bills have been defeated, at this stage it looks like the Ohio bill will also be defeated.
These types of legal challenges always have, and probably always will, exist but in the media now in the U S there seems to be a move by the 75%+ majority who approve photo enforcement to finally stand up and be counted.
