I just rang Comsec and the guy explained to me that if you came across as an old Sanford and ? (I didnt catch the other name he mentioned) client, Comsec were discounting the normal brokerage fee of $29.95 to $19.95 for 1 year. Now that the year has finished they want you to pay the $29.95 brokerage or you can open up a cash management account and get a discount down to $19.95. If you have a CDIA account nothing will change and you will continue to pay $19.95 ander 10K trades. That was how he explained to me!
