Cheech, what years did Jesus spend in the wilderness?? There is only one account that is recorded in the New Testament, and that was only for 40 days. Unless he had lear jet, I very much doubt he made it to India, learnt samathi and then made it back in that 40 day period........... Perhaps you are confusing jesus with the apostle paul, as paul spent a lenthy period of time in the wilderness??
Could it then be that Jesus didnt get to learn this meditation you speak of, and perhaps really did die on the cross and as the scriptures say, rose on the third day........ ?????
