The chart below appears in Mineral resources AGM presentation. Their estimate for 2025 Integrated Spod Hydroxide producers has all of them with a cost under $10k/t. GT1 should therefore be somewhere around or under that $10k/t price point.
Now for some simple math: 30,000 * (58,000 - 10,000) = US$1,440,000,000 (and that's for a single year). The unknown question is will Hydroxide prices be lower than $58k in 2027 when GT1 plans to have its Hydroxide working?
Second question - How much would battery makers pay for IRA compliant Hydroxide this decade?
There's no guarantee of $58k Hydroxide in 2025 (or 2027 and beyond) so GT1 will be more conservative than this in the scoping study but even so, it's likely to have some really big numbers.
