Anybody see Lateline on ABC tonight? They said GTG's patents could cost the government a lot of money in royalties if applied to all the genetic diagnostic tests done today. It seems they dont want to pay but dont have any choice. Failure to comply with world IP protection laws would have serious trade implications for Aus.
