settlement is all about sharing the loss, an equal compromise; 50/50 of the ORIGINAL Amount to start with so that its a WIN - WIN.

all the borrowed amount plus
interest plus
early payments fee plus
all the pain of bad credit rating plus
all the lost opportunity while saving up for anything to invest again plus
the stress we have been through.
how is that called settlement please explain?
