A "special" bag trial has just been announced by Guangzhou province in the last week.
They refer to 60 "special" bin liners or bags being supplied to each household, so I'm guessing they are fully recyclable.
There are 16m people in this province.
We haven't heard anything from Cardia in relation to this, so it is probably not them, but you never know.

Either way, it is a good sign that the whole of China really is starting to focus on their waste handling and environmental problems...augurs well for Cardia.
Any detectives out there care to find out more about this contract...who the supplier is?
