The government will sell what infrastructure we have left for a cheap price to the large investment banks which the CEO and some directors of the f---ed up bank used to work for before they took their new jobs at the now f---ed up bank. Of course whilst working for the f---ed up bank these same CEO's and directors boosted their multi-million dollar salaries and even larger share packages whilst systematically encouraging the bank to invest in schemes that they themselves already had shares in. Of course these people then benefited from the increased value in their speculative holdings after the bank made it's investment they then sold up. Those same CEO's and directors then also sold their shares in the f---ed up bank before anybody else was told that their was a problem. So in essence that is our government guarantee ... guaranteed to give our country to the super rich at all of our expense.
