As has been discussed previously on this forum, CE mark is a general product safety approval only. Electrical appliances, toys and building products for example require this certification. It makes sense that the medical profession, government, insurance companies and other potential UK partners would require more specific endorsement of Colostat than CE mark (e.g. TGA approval!)
