even those who oppose guns -- I bet that most of them believe a lot of things about the old Wild West that are just fantasy -
I also bet that they watch the 'Die Hards' and 'Mission Impossibles' and every other action type film
I am in awe of Hollywood - what it's done, what it's learned, it's skills are just amazing -
but, it's so good that grown up people actually believe in the fantasies
many americans just live their lives believing that guns are just an all in part of their lives ----------- and, have 'actually' made it a reality
then, they run all over the world doing the 'in god we trust' thing - and, wonder why people want to kill them -
then, wonder why idiots who have no idea of how to think things through go off on their mad right wing extremist ideas
chuck in some good old Aussie leadership firing up as catalysts and you have what we have now

Actually the wild west was real.
Go to Tombstone in Arizona and you can see it.
It was hectic back then. Go outside a town and it was every man for himself. Throw in the Indians and Mexicans and it's no wonder they were armed to the teeth.
The history of the USA should be learned if you're going to comment on their right to bear arms set out clearly in the second amendment to their constitution.
