It doesn't work for me. They spent $30m in 2002 sinking that exploration shaft into the potential resources at a depth of mores than 500m and probably well into the water table.
What I'd prefer see is a chunk of hill cut out using surface mining. They've been intersecting small amounts of sulphide at 20 - 50 metres. Magic words: "near surface". That said, I'm not sure that I've got a grip on the structure yet. But burrowing down over half a km is expensive and risky and takes for ever to prepare.
