Other option is AGM will happen and they will pretend they never even made a statement that they hoped to present something. Like- what statement? Huh? Oh that- we just said "hoped" we did hope, but didn't happen, sorry. Then, the chairman of the meeting says "Look over there- it's a giant pink elephant!" Whilst shareholders are looking over there, the management bolt out the door and run down the street Benny Hill style.
