If the the DSMB has recommended halting the COVID ARDS trial for overwhelming efficacy, MSB and Novartis would need to meet with the FDA to determine next steps; it's not likely (in my opinion) that this could happen at extremely short notice (i.e. next US business day).
Not sure that the TH is for above, but this situation could require an extended trading halt in my opinion.
