@Yarnos20 interestingly though the data submission deadlines fall within those dates the deadline for DSMB was the 4th of September with the meeting being held on the 16th. Meso announced the DSMB were recommending the trial continued on the 4th of Sept so the DSMB would have had the data submission by then same with the announcement on the 11th of November the deadline was the 6th for the meeting on the 18th. Potentially MSB was advised of the recommendations to continue once the submission was made as opposed to the meeting date. On this occasion it may have played out differently due to the nature of the recommendation.

I do think Meso and Novartis will end up doing a combined therapy trial with Entresto which reduces hospitalisation and revascor but I’m not sure a rushed trading pause and then 2 day halt makes sense for that scenario as they will likely discuss the deal and trial design potential in length. But I guess anything is possible at this stage.
