I'm having trouble seeing what is motivating the shorters.

Could they be hoping for a Discounted CR. Whilst anything is possible it seems like a long shot given the way the volumes processed and the grades being delivered are progressing and the cu price being achieved.

The shorter will be sitting on a big pile of cash ( circa $487k) that will disappear very quickly if the Share price Jumps.

The sellers apart from the shorter are thin on the ground and a bit of good news and confirmation that HGO is now self funded to fill the plant and pay dividends will make them greedier.
