Years ago now, myself and others were convinced that HGO had a great potential as an underground and that Lachlan was a CEO that could deliver on that promise.
I and others were correct in predicting that the day would come when we would enjoy a constant flow of regular good news announcements, with relatively few negative ones. This has come to pass in a way which has exceeded even our high expectations.
I was also of the opinion that these announcements would act as a ratchet on the sp. Each good news announcement should have resulted in the sp going to a higher level, or so I believed. This is where I went wrong. The sp is certainly higher but not that much.
My remaining hope is that the sp will eventually begin to run once we hit the ASX 300. Until then, I think we are just seen as too risky and to small be a safe investment. Certainly the run to the bottom occurred quickly when we fell out of the ASX 300 after the open pit effort fell apart. The sp collapsed very quickly.
So here is hoping that the sp will eventually surge. But I need a divy in the mean time.
