spot on ------------ I didn't want to bring that in to the initial post because I wanted to hit as few emotional triggers as possible -

but, yes - fully agree ---- it's the logical jump - and a very very rapid one.

I would back in pigs for one of the first ------ they are intelligent, social animals with a lot of similarities to humans


I don't know how the first experiments will go - there'll probably be multiple experiments happening all at once -

pigs would be a given if the technology is capable -------- octopi would be odds on if the technology is small enough and can handle submersion

apes -------- given --------- someone will obviously do chimps - but for me - the big news will come from orangutan and gorilla


whichever and whatever - if we do get intellectual discussion -------- humans will just HAVE to change - dramatically
