A110: I tend to agree with you except for the part about BHP bouncing around 32 for months and months. I woulf like it to do that but if you take a look at the charts BHP is not a stock that spends a lot of time doing the sideways shuffle. When it takes off it goes fast and the opposite is true on the downside.
If the SP holds above $32 I can't see it going below this level again very quickly if at all. This is a major resistance level and once broken will become strong support.....This is the interesting part because most traders know this.....it's dangerous to go short but it's equally as dangerous to go long...with a clear signal of which way the price go I think it will move very fast....very exciting IMO
