Guesstimates for AMP 2020-21, page-330

So here we are on the cusp of finding out just how bad 2020 was for AMP.

• Looks like underlying profit is going to come in around $200m for the year
• AUM outflow to continue
• AUM to increase over last half due to market recovery
• Advisers and clients continue to run out the door.
• Ares to head for the exit
• AMP to tell us that they have a plan and then do nothing (again!)
• Legal actions to grind on
• No word from ASIC on criminal charges so maybe AMP have dodged a bullet?

Share price to collapse following Feb announcements and the sub $1.00 level could be achieved sooner than the end of the year as expected.

Previously I had offered to save AMP if I could get enough proxies. Sadly I have to withdraw this offer now as I do not think that it can be saved. Certainly, a valuation of over $1.50 looks less than likely to ever be achieved again after the release of second-half figures in February.
