I dont know if your BFR has the gloss neck or not but the oil/wax finish on mine is the best feeling neck I have played on, although the profile is so small it gave me some hand cramps the first few weeks I had it. The only issue I have is I need to replace one of the saddles as the piezo pickup is not making contact properly and buzzes a lot.
