I agree, it is a bit ambiguous. They will not get A$3 million dollars WORTH of shares. They will get 3 million ATW shares, as long as the price is over C$1.00, instead of the measly A$3,000,000.
Otherwise, the share option has no value! It would mean, "you can have money, OR the same amount of money to buy our shares at market rate.." - that would make no sense.
Good question, though. And one that makes a BIG difference to the value of BTV, even if the market doesn't yet recognise its value.
