If you banned all guns completely, just outright banned them.
There would still be criminals with them, and gun deaths.
Allowing people who comply with the rules, the ability to be a member of a sporting shooting club, or a pistol club, or a clay target club etc. - exactly how is that causing grief to 'anyone else' like you just stated?
