You will never get a category C or D licence in Australia, ever,

Category A and Catergory B lines have been blurred, I know, a dozen of the guys that got Adler 7 shot lever action shot guns had them taken of them a year or so ago when the cops changed the Adler lever action from Category A to Category B,

If you read the fine print in the Western Australian gun laws, they have reduced property sizes so you effectively have to hand your guns in because your don't meet the criteria,

You used to be able to have a shotgun on 5 acres and a 22, now you are no longer allowed to have either,

On a hundred acres you can have a shotgun, 22, 22 magnum, 222,

On 500 acres you can have all the above plus 223, 243,,

On 1000 acres or above, all of the above plus I believe no higher than 308,

No Category C or D unless you are government departments under strict guidelines,

Pump action shotguns were taken of everyone due to the pump action being a high value target for organised crime,

Hand guns are restricted due to concealment laws, and a high value theft item for organised crime,

Guns aren't a problem when their sitting in the gun cabinet,

Guns become a problem when they are in the hands of mentally disturbed individuals who think they are entitled,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
