"Tasmanian timber company, Gunns, has posted strong financial results for some of its managed plantation schemes.

Sales for its walnut project in New South Wales' Riverina district have jumped more than five fold in a year, to about $16 million.

Its latest winegrape project has reached fill subscription and closed early, after starting last year.

90 per cent of sales for Gunns Plantations come from managed investment schemes in forestry, but the company says its latest results also show a strong commitment to other agribusiness."
