Looks like you were correct Zwu per say. What I believe you are seeing is what Great Southern would have done to the tree owners,---and going by this,if gump doesn't get the brass from empty head either in canberra or hobart, then the ANZ credit card is out and running,if it is not already, but let's see what happens after the suspension.

The bookeeping methodology when gump announces will be like cheese and chalk, and in fact in reality a total nonsense.

This is reality,Gump had an expectation,at the time of this posting,
The people forced on to the scrap heap of unemployed in Tasmania, the forestry contractors(family business),the lib's,FT,and the greenies are at one on agreeing

    NO FUNDING FOR GUNNS

Politics----strange creature, which when you mix blue and green, don't you get brown?

Gunns share trade suspended NICK CLARK | August 08, 2011 10.11am

TIMBER company Gunns has sought a trading suspension on its shares until it gets more certainty about compensation from the Intergovernmental Forestry Agreement.

Gunns shares went into a trading halt on Thursday at an all-time low of 20.5 cents.

Company secretary Wayne Chapman said he expected discussions with the State Government this week and that the company would be able to provide clarity this week.

On Thursday Mr Chapman said the IGA potentially had material impacts for the company and it wanted to avoid a false market in the interim.

The $276 million announcement failed to provide any solid numbers on money Gunns may receive for exiting native forest logging.

Since Thursday's halt, markets have been in freefall as a result of US and European debt concerns.

Market experts said the company had until 10am today to make an announcement to the ASX or go into automatic suspension.

Last week's drop in share price took the company market value down to $174 million.

Gunns has been seeking money to exit native forest logging.

However, Forestry Tasmania and the State Liberals have said the company does not deserve compensation because the company made its own commercial decision to exit logging.
