Been a little busy mate with a few shares getting hit. Looked like it was going to close the gap this morning. Is moving back up slowly with the DOW futures. The price did break 180.5 and move half way in to the gap to 179 for a min. Buyers coming in at 180/181 now. The gap didn't fully close at least and has bounced again. More red overseas tonight may see it closed. Another poster called for it to be closed and done with. I used to think the same but for it to be a breakaway gap and start of a sustained uptrend it needs to hold. Look at Jan 17 for an example of a breakaway gap that held and was tested on Feb 16.
For now on 10 min chart the stochastics are moving back up, MACD looking to close. 183 will break the SAR and 15EMA again.
Dissappointing as the 1hr and 4hr charts were looking good yesterday but macro events will effect all shares. At this point seems to have stabilised and moving back up.
3.218M volume so far. VWAP is 181.4.
