Gupper , I thank you for you very articulate and sincere article , commenting on the letter I had posted on this thread ( which unfortunately has disappeared ).
I am not a frequent poster on HC but I occasionaly try to submit the truth about Israel and the national movement of the Jewish people so scornly berated by many , a movement every nation legitimately and proudly owns , and the Jews to that matter call Zionism .
I am no fanatic .I pray everyday of my life for PEACE . Jews in Israel say SHALOM when they meet others and when they about to leave . SHALOM is said every day millions of time .

However I am now rather very disillusioned , completely disappointed with the Arab attitude .But more than anything else , I am disgusted with the attitude of the WESTERN LEFT whom I mentally belonged to until the shock of Camp david rejection by YA . The shameless colaberation of the LEFT "INTELLIGENSIA" is a historical scar that will ultimately live to haunt the conscience of the whole movement for generations .
A testimony to this incredibly wrong bias , whose incarnation , is nothing but a facsimile of the worst antisemite movements of the EXTREME RIGHT , is continuously reflected on this forum and in many media outlets in the west . It bothers many in the LEFT movement . Orianna Bellucci , the famous Italian left winger first lady has voiced her deep concern lately , regarding this transformation , of the LEFT .
The attitude of this movement is the sour grape among most Israelis because Israel has always been at the forefront of social equality which the LEFT seems so detached fron these days .
Anyway I thank you again for your honesty .
And to those that worried about the extra w . It is a pity ( and you show it now and again ) that this typing error was the only thing you could pick from the letter . This is incredibly but rather expected shallowness .
