Sally, I agree but to clarify a few points.
The page number of the pdf depends on where you opened the document from. I assume you mean page 11 when looking at the pages on the bottom right corner of the announcement from 14 August 2019.
Accumulating 3% every six months would take 8 lots of 6 months to get another 24%, so 48 months not 24 months.
However, GFG/SIMEC could end up with 61% of the shares post transaction (page 19 of EGM).
So they could still get to 75% is just over 24 months.
