STO said a few days ago its half year profit would exceed broker estimates quite significantly .. this could explain some of the strength. Other possibilities include being clsoe to signing customers for GLNG or doing a deal on same with Shell. Or as an outside chance it may be pumping its sp ahead of a move on ESG.
