    regularASX,

Well done on the sale this morning. My sell order ($14.07) missed getting hit by 2cents after the second bounce from the high of $14.08.
This is what happens when I get that little bit too greedy. I should have gone with my first instinct of $14.02. That seems to be a resistance point every time it goes over $14.
Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for the next run up.

    YA,
I think the recent price rise may have a bit more in it than simply the just dividend. Even though STO have recorded increased earnings, I wouldn't expect the dividend to be more than a couple of cents above the previous half year of 22cents.
SANTOS needs to retain as much cash as possible to fund their expansion. As I don't think the dividend re-investment plan has received much participation.

Anyway, come (around) 28th August, I want to be holding as many shares as possible, because I like fully franked dividends. :)

    Cheers
    --Dan
