however, some people don't want to wait around, they don't want the hassle... or maybe they cannot afford to wait? do not forget that there is an opportunity cost involved in having cash tied up in one particular stock -- it could be elsewhere. calling people naive and stupid is a bit unfair IMO.

so i think that constantly harping on about the fundamentals is a bit unnecessary; you're flogging a dead horse. some will hold and some will not, and we shouldn't blame them one bit if they don't.
