What a pathetic effort this has been so far. Abbott was going to tear down the government with his no confidence motion yet where is it? Why hasn't it been placed on the notice paper?

And how can he say the government is so incompetent yet support its budget cuts?

Albo is right. He is all about making the threats and the assertions so as to manufacture an atmosphere of crisis in the mind of the public. Never mind that he doesn't follow through. Never mind the claims are garbage. Never mind the attacks are factually incorrect. Just create the impression, day after day, of a government in crisis. Every day, make up some claim or stunt. Attack everything. See the negative in everything. That's the method the Coalition has chosen to get into government. And with the the help of the rabid and the right wing media, they have been so successful in this.

And Windsor is right, too. He says Abbott's too frightened to go through with the no confidence motion in case he finds he has less support now than he did at the start.

When will the Coalition ever consider the national interest instead of constantly playing low brow politics and appealing to the lowest common denominator?

Macho man indeed! It's time he ran out of parliament like a scared rabbit again!
