It is viable and will only get cheaper with further technological advancements and upscaling. We can't keep going on burning dirty coal. Do you want to end up like China choking on their own smog.
I guess you prescribe to Tony Abbott's outdated view. Wind farms are ugly and a health hazard but coal fired power stations are beautiful. Might be another reason he isn't PM anymore. Dinosaurs have died out, the 1950's are dead, buried and cremated!
