This lake is called Parime by the native Canibales and by the other natives from Iaos Foponowini. It is a fresh water 1000kms long. Here in are many islands and a great number of Canoes which are small Indian boats. (not sure if sout means salt or sweet/fresh. solt is low german for salt and sööt for sweet). Quite a surprise to be able to read the 1599 Hondius map without translation.

Well, there is no 1000km lake in Guyana, so Eldorado still remains a fairy tale.
