I think what we have here is what was coined previously as a Super Pit discovery.
The drill hits show grades at 10-16g/t at 250m-300m depth.
Thats quadruple the grade of Hicks 2.
Those drill hits at 220m- 273m are super high grade -
• 1m @ 57.60 g/t Au from 221m; and
• 3m @ 10.30 g/t Au from 261m; and
• 13m @ 13.74 g/t Au from 273m;
Karouni is shaping up as a higher grade larger deeper interconnected shear mine area like Omai 35km east
Omai was a 5Moz mine and in the same shear zone as Karouni.
The underground at Karouni (Smarts pit) is high grade and these much higher grade hits all along strike at depth and open at width and depth are spectacular.
"The intersection highlights the significant potential to add high grade ounces to the mining Inventory at
the Karouni Project and to extend the mine life materially. The Maiden Mineral Reserve calculation at
Smarts Underground is on track for this Quarter."
This LOM this Quarter should on these drill results come in at 200,000oz but the whole deeps area looks like a 1Moz resource to add to the 1Moz of resources TRY already has.
Looking more like a Kalgoorlie type super pit 1-2km long and 500m deep as the results come in.
