    There is a number potential deposits along the Smarts Hicks shear and it has been suggested they could eventually join up. Ie Smarts 1,2,3 and 4 to Smarts NW, Hicks down to Far SE Hicks

    It's not always practical to drill a large area completely to identify a potentially large open pit, try has concentrated on the two known deposits Smarts and Hicks and while mining those they get a better understanding of the geology and the potential to expand/extend those pits.

    BTW the mill site was drilled to check it was not sitting on a deposit before the foundations where poured
