I don’t think any sensible investor in CNP will tell you that they invested because the stock was $10 but is now x. If they did invest because of the reasoning they are idiots.
But I see the point you are trying to make.
However isn’t there a middle ground between that point and the reality of the situation?
In other words the market DID react with good reason and downgrade the value of this company but couldn’t it be possible that it has overreacted?
