    Is that your example Hope? JBM went down because of a gloabl situation that affected basically every stock.

    CNP down on shonky management and a flawed business model that was going to be found out at some stage, it was only a matter of time.

    Have you noticed that the companies that have got into trouble since the credit crunch have all been highly-geared companies with the same basic growth strategy? What does that tell you?

    CNP may get out of this, probably will, but it won't be with the same model and there wont be premiums attributed to quick growth strategy as there have been in the past. New kettle of fish I'm afraid, you may be waiting a while for rewards if at all.

    But as some have rightly pointed out, as long as you stay diversed and only invest what you're willing to lose, then there's no harm in having an each-way bet.
