agreed Oze, he'll be laughing all the way to the bank. Plus Fremantle should be able to obtain some reasonable compensation for him, certaintly a top 20 pick.
12 - 14 teams would be the ideal number for an "elite" competition, whilst the AFL can keep increasing profit by pumping out new teams they will.
By elite I mean a high quality standard of skills and talents to justify paying $45 to go watch live
