    Sure, but Amazon can't help you if your pet is sick and needs veterinary attention. I also strongly suspect Amazon will never carry the 4k SKUs that GXL carries. If Amazon takes market share in the pet retailing space, i expect it to be from the weaker competitors first (unsophisticated pet chains), and probably even the supermarkets before GXL. Also worth pointing out that GXL have the #3 online pet retailer in Aus (having come from basically nowhere in the last two years), so it's hardly as though they are ignoring the online threat. And, after having had Amazon Prime (1-day delivery) for years, the whole online pet market is still only ~$150m annually (a drop in the ocean of the entire market) - i don't expect a change to 2-hour delivery to send GXL's whole retail business into a spin.
