    Honestly, CEO's of companies this size do f*** all. The business will still operate! They'll still make money. Obviously you do need someone to be the 'chief' leader of all your executives. Each executive has managers underneath them who then have further managers and teams etc. It's not as if the CEO leaves and everyone starts mucking around... The CEO is the visionary and the one that steers the ship towards the board's goals.

    Anyway, I think it's been a typical case of misguided overselling. Investors are nervous for all sorts of reasons which I'm not going to list, and yes, typically 'too much' volatility scares the pants off some SMSF investors and then you've got some fund managers getting in and shorting the business.

    I say WHATEVER - the fundamentals are strong, the industry is growing and it's fragmented. It's a bright future for Greencross, no matter who has the CEO hat.
